GlucoBuddy ("we," "our," or "us"), developed by Mushroom God Studios, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the GlucoBuddy mobile application ("the App").

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:

- A hashed password (we never store your password in plain text)
Health Data
GlucoBuddy is a blood sugar management app. Any blood glucose readings, logs, or health entries you input are stored to provide the core functionality of the App. This data is sensitive and treated with the highest level of care.
Payment Information
If you purchase GlucoBuddy or any in-app features, payments are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not directly collect or store your credit card or payment details. All payment data is handled by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Usage & Analytics Data
We collect anonymized usage data to understand how the App is used and to improve performance. This includes:
- App crashes and error logs (via Firebase Crashlytics)
- Feature usage patterns
- Device type, OS version, and app version
This data is not linked to your personal identity.

- bcrypt password hashing - your password is never stored in plain text
- Encrypted data transmission over HTTPS
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

GlucoBuddy is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at the email below and we will delete it promptly.
